We offer market-leading Domestic Solar PV solutions tailored for Dublin and surrounding areas, offering you a greener and more affordable energy source.
At Solar Works Electrical, we specialize in transforming your home with high-quality, energy-efficient solar panels. Our Domestic Solar PV systems are designed to significantly reduce your household electricity costs while contributing to a greener environment. Our innovative services provide long-term benefits for you and your property.

Power your home with clean, renewable energy from the sun, reducing your reliance on fossil fuels and contributing to a healthier planet. Solar energy is abundant and accessible, allowing you to harness a sustainable power source that benefits both your property & the environment.

Cut down on your electricity bills by up to €2,000 annually with our high-efficiency solar PV systems. By generating your own electricity, you shield yourself from rising energy prices, making solar not just an environmental choice, but a financially savvy one as well.

Our solar panels are built to last with minimal upkeep, ensuring they perform optimally for decades. With premium construction & advanced technology - they require little maintenance, giving you peace of mind & long-term reliability without the hassle.

Take control of your energy usage & reduce reliance on the grid, making your home more self-sufficient. By producing your own electricity, you gain energy independence from utility companies, offering stability during energy price fluctuations & potential power outages.

Make a positive impact on the environment by lowering your carbon footprint with solar energy. Every kilowatt-hour of solar power reduces greenhouse gas emissions, helping to combat climate change & start a cleaner, greener future for the next generation.

Add battery storage to maximise your solar investment & ensure energy availability even when the weather is overcast. With a solar battery system, you can store excess energy generated during the day for use at night or during power outages, further enhancing your energy independence and savings.
We only install tier 1 premium panels such as Longi and Recom. There are many variations of these panels: white backed and double cell. Which collects power from the front and rear of the panels.
Solar PV Panels tend to be installed on the properties roof via a mounting system. The Solar Panels generate electricity through natural sunlight. The electricity is measured in Kilowatt hours, and the value of electricity produced by the panels is subject to the amount of solar panels installed on the roof. The electricity that is generated can be used to power all appliances in the property.
The Solar PV Systems we install allows the generated electricity to power appliances during sunlight hours, and the smart software ensures that electricity is only sent back to the grid once there is a sufficient amount of electricity stored to power your home during non-daylight hours. Any excess electricity is sent back to the grid.
Our inverters are from the Solis hybrid off-grid range. We chose these inverters for a multitude of reasons. The app Solis provides is very user-friendly, troubleshooting is straightforward and parts are readily available. Some additional features of the system are:
Our Batteries are from Pylontech. Unlike most batteries on the market, the Pylontech batteries come with a built-in BMS negating an additional purchase for your system. Pylontech batteries are very versatile and can be upgraded and expanded over time. Households tend to use most of their electricity during the evening and nighttime, when the solar PV systems are no longer producing power. Batteries are one of the most important yet, often overlooked parts of a solar on grid/off grid system. When building a solar panel system, we model around your energy usage. If you are out of the house the majority of the day and need maximum power during the evenings, then batteries are a must for your solar PV system as they store and release electricity for you on demand long after the sun has set.
Even during the daytime, there is a constant mismatch between power produced by a solar array and consumption, so you are constantly importing or exporting electricity. Modern lithium batteries are excellent at storing and releasing this surplus energy and make a huge impact on the savings you can make with a solar photovoltaic system. These batteries are made with Lithium Iron Phosphate to ensure safety and long life cycle.
We primarily use the Myenergi Eddi diverter. These are used to divert power which the solar PV systems wishes to export to the grid directly to your immersion to heat the hot water in your tank. This ensures maximum self-consumption and efficiency in your home.
Eddi is an eco-smart energy management system, it diverts surplus power from solar PV to a designated power circuit (your immersion tank). This excess energy will go directly to a designated appliance, such as an immersion heater. Eddi allows you to stop exporting energy back to the grid & saves you money on your energy bill.
Eddi utilises MyEnergi’s proprietary VariSine™ technology to ensure compliance with worldwide power grid standards. Suitable for single and dual immersion systems, for use with heaters up to 3kW.
The MyEnergi application allows property owners to fully control of the green energy they generate from their Solar Systems. The application provides you with a convenient way to divert your energy surplus to any appliance you desire. MyEnergi Application is available for Android and iPhone devices.
EXCELLENT Based on 43 reviews Posted on Google Victor DunneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Darren and his team installed my solar system last Friday and I have to compliment him on the quality of his work. The 10kw ecoflow unit itself was installed very neatly in my back yard Through the very intuitive app Darren took the time to show me exactly how it all worked. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday I have have drawn zero electricity from the grid which was exactly what I was looking for. In addition I have turned off the gas heating system as I can now use the excess electricity generated by the panels to heat the immersion so I only need to turn the gas back on if I need hot radiators in the autumn. Still waiting for my micro generation account to be set up with my electricity supplier but I'd imagine I will save even more money there as credit on my winter electric bills. I would highly recommend Solar Works Electrical Contractors if you need to get solar installed in your house.Posted on Google Conor McDonnellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
